Fruit Christmas Tree Snack for Toddlers

    Jump to Recipe Print Recipe

This simple and healthy fruit Christmas tree is the perfect festive snack for toddlers! Most Christmas fruit tree recipes I've seen online are WAY TOO elaborate, especially when you're trying to whip up a snack as quickly as possible before a toddler meltdown begins. These trees use just a few ingredients, and take less than 5 minutes to make! Your little one can also help decorate the fruit tree!

    Toddler Tip:

Let your child join in on decorating the tree! Blueberries and raspberries work great, but you could also use a little star cutter and cut shapes out of strawberries, apples and pears!

    FAQs

Can I prep this snack ahead of time?

It’s best to prepare this snack fresh to keep the fruit looking vibrant and appetizing. However, you can slice the fruit ahead and store it in an airtight container in the fridge to save time.

Can I use other fruits instead of kiwi?

Absolutely! While kiwi makes a great base for the tree because of its green colour, you can also use slices of green apple, honeydew melon, or even watermelon pieces for a similar look.

What can I use for the “ornaments” on the tree?

Small, colourful fruits like blueberries, raspberries, or diced strawberries work best as ornaments. You can also use small pieces of cheese or raisins for variety. Just ensure everything is served in a safe way for your child.
