ABC Muffins (apple, banana, carrot) for Toddlers

Delicious apple, banana and carrot muffins. Full of fibre and no added sugar. Your little one (and you!) will love these!

Equipment

  • 1 Large bowl
  • 1 muffin pan

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mashed ripe banana about 2 small-medium size bananas
  • ¾ cup apple grated, about 1 medium apple
  • ½ cup shredded carrot about 1 small carrot
  • ¼ cup milk of choice cow's milk or plant-based beverage
  • ¼ cup melted coconut oil slightly cooled, or other neutral oil of choice
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Dry Ingredients

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  • In a large bowl add the wet ingredients (mashed banana, grated apple, grated carrots, egg, milk or plant-based beverage, coconut oil, and vanilla. Mix together.
  • In a separate bowl, add the dry ingredients (almond flour, iron fortified infant oat cereal, rolled oats, hemp hearts, cinnamon, baking powder, and baking soda). Stir to combine.
  • Add the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Mix together.
  • Dish out the batter into a greased muffin pan. Bake in the oven at 375 degrees F for 22-25 minutes.
  • Let cool for 5-10 minutes.

Notes

This recipe was updated on Sept. 14th, 2026 to increase the almond flour and decrease the milk to help create an even fluffier muffin! If you would like the original recipe, please reach out.
