    FAQ

What age is it ok to have cocoa powder?

I would encourage saving this smoothie until your little one is at least 2 years of age because cocoa powder contains caffeine.

Can I make the Chunky Monkey Smoothie nut-free?

Absolutely! Simply swap out the peanut butter for sunflower seed butter, pumpkin seed butter or tahini. This keeps the smoothie delicious and safe for little ones with nut allergies.

What if my toddler can't have dairy?

If your little one has an allergy or intolerance to dairy and you are looking to make this smoothie dairy free, simply swap in a plant based yogurt for the Greek yogurt or you can swap in soft tofu for the Greek yogurt. Using soft tofu is a great dairy-free option that will still provide some protein and calcium!

How do I make this nut-free and suitable for daycare!?

To make the Chunky Monkey Smoothie nut-free and daycare-friendly, simply swap the peanut butter for sunflower seed butter, pumpkin seed butter or tahini. This keeps the smoothie just as creamy and delicious while ensuring it’s safe for kids with nut allergies. To make it suitable for daycare, send it in a reusable pouch!
