This Strawberry and Peanut Butter Smoothie tastes just like the classic PB&J flavour combination! A burst of berries combined with the creaminess of peanut butter with a good boost of protein, this smoothie can be a great way to kickstart the day or have as a snack.

Ingredients

- milk (cow’s milk or plant based alternative beverage)
- Greek yogurt
- frozen strawberries
- banana
- smooth peanut butter
See recipe card for quantities.
Instructions
This recipe is super simple to make – just add all the ingredients to a blender and blend on high speed for 30-40 seconds until smooth!

Substitutions
- Berries – you could swap in raspberries for the strawberries and this is also delicious!
- Dairy-free – swap the Greek yogurt for a plant-based yogurt such as coconut or almond based. Use a fortified plant-based alternative beverage instead of cow’s milk
- Extra protein – you could boost the protein by adding 2 tablespoon hemp hearts
- Peanut free – swap the peanut butter for an almond butter or seed butter
Equipment
High speed blender
Storage
This smoothie is best if consumed immediately.
Top tip
I find frozen strawberries work best for this smoothie but you can also use fresh.
