    This Strawberry and Peanut Butter Smoothie tastes just like the classic PB&J flavour combination! A burst of berries combined with the creaminess of peanut butter with a good boost of protein, this smoothie can be a great way to kickstart the day or have as a snack.

    Ingredients

    Ingredients for strawberry peanut butter smoothie
    • milk (cow's milk or plant based alternative beverage)
    • yogurt (full fat regular or full fat Greek)
    • frozen strawberries
    • banana
    • smooth peanut butter

    Instructions

    This recipe is super simple to make - just add all the ingredients to a blender and blend on high speed for 30-40 seconds until smooth!

    Step 1 for strawberry peanut butter smoothie - add ingredients to high speed blender.

    Add all of the ingredients to a high speed blender.

    Step 2 for strawberry peanut butter smoothie. Blend on high speed for 30-45 seconds.

    Blend the ingredients on high speed for 30-40 seconds, until smooth.

    Substitutions

    • Berries - you could swap in raspberries for the strawberries and this is also delicious!
    • Dairy-free - swap the yogurt for a plant-based yogurt such as coconut or almond based. Use a fortified plant-based alternative beverage instead of cow's milk
    • Nutrient booster - you could add in 2 tablespoons of hemp hearts
    • Peanut free - swap the peanut butter for an almond butter or seed butter

    This smoothie is best if consumed immediately.

    Top tip

    I find frozen strawberries work best for this smoothie but you can also use fresh.

    • ¾ cup milk of choice (unsweetened plant-based alternative beverage or cow's milk)
    • ½ cup yogurt plain or vanilla, regular full fat or full fat Greek
    • 1 cup frozen strawberries
    • ½ banana
    • 2 tablespoon smooth, natural peanut butter

    Instructions

    • Add all ingredients to a high speed blender. Blend on high for 30-40 seconds until smooth.
