    Ingredients

    • smooth nut butter
    • hemp seeds
    • chia seeds
    • ground flax seeds
    • ground pumpkin seeds
    • vanilla (optional)

    See recipe card for quantities.

    Instructions

Spoon out 1 cup of smooth nut butter into a separate jar or container and add in all of the seeds. Stir together.

Serve or seal in a jar and store in the fridge!

Hint: If you are using a nut butter that has been stored in the fridge, let it soften first at room temperature so that it is easier to stir in all of the seeds.

    Substitutions

    • Nut alternatives - if you are looking for a nut-free option, you could use a seed butter such as pumpkin seed butter or sunflower seed butter.
    • Seeds - feel free to swap in other seeds like sunflower seeds for pumpkin seeds, if you prefer.

    Variations

You can get creative with flavours!

    • Chocolate - add 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder and 1 teaspoon maple syrup
    • Coconut - add 2 tablespoon of shredded, unsweetened coconut

    Storage

You can store the nut and seed butter in a sealed jar in the fridge for up to 2-3 months.

    Top tip

Add this to smoothies, stir into some oatmeal or yogurt, or spread thinly on a sandwich! There are so many great options for this spread!

    FAQ

Can I use a crunchy nut butter?

If you are feeding this to a toddler, I would recommend using a smooth nut butter variety. Remember to spread it in a thin layer for little ones.
